In the
Destination
text box, the default physical address of the packet
destination is displayed. This is a 6-byte address where you can modify the
last 4 bytes.

In the
Source
text box, the default physical address of the packet’s source is
displayed. This is a 6-byte address where you can modify the last 3 bytes.
Although you are allowed to modify only the last 3 bytes in the
Source
field,
the module allows you to apply a modifier from the third offset. However,
when the traffic profile with such a modifier is saved, a warning is displayed.
From the
Type
drop-down list, select the protocol that is used to transmit the
packets in this traffic profile. Select the suitable
Type
for traffic that needs to
be generated:
TYPE
TRAFFIC
ARP
ARP_Reply, ARP_Request
IPV4
TCP, UDP, Custom TCP, Custom UDP
CUSTOM
L2 custom
The following sections explain the fields that are required to be set when the
Type is IPV4 or L2 custom traffic.
