1. If there are side doors between the rectifier cabinet and the DC power distribution cabinet, it needs to be removed.
2. Use parallel copper bars to respectively connect the DC positive busbar and DC negative busbar of the rectifier cabinet and DC
distribution cabinet, see Figure 1.8.

NOTE!
1. When connecting the parallel copper bars, pay attention to the positive and negative poles of the copper bars.
2. If the recommended layout of rectifier cabinet and DC distribution cabinet shown in 1.3.1 Cabinet Layout is not
adopted, please contact Vertiv technical support personnel. 3. When expanding the old HVDC system, please contact
Vertiv technical support personnel for the connection of the parallel copper bars.

Connecting Power Cables
NOTE!
1. Before electrical connection, verify that the system is powered off. 2. Some terminals are hidden in the cover
below, remove the cover can see.
When connecting the power cable, it is necessary to select the appropriate cable according to the site conditions. The power
parallel cable of the rectifier cabinet and AC cabinet is selected from the power cable accessories listed in Table 1.8. Cut the cable
to proper length and crimp to cable terminals according to the actual position of the field cabinet.
