MANAGING SAVED EXAMS
The system can store saved exams in its internal memory or on external devices such as USB flash drives. If
you scan the patient multiple times during an exam, the system saves the largest measurement.
If no external devices are attached, the system stores saved exams in its internal memory. If the system runs
out of internal memory, it overwrites the oldest exams as needed to make space for new ones. The system is
capable of storing 600 exams within its internal memory.
If a USB drive is attached, the system stores saved exams on the USB drive. If an attached USB drive runs low
on space, the system notifies you so that you can switch drives.
You can move exams from the internal memory to an external USB drive. For more information, see the
procedure

PROCEDURE 1. RECALL A SAVED EXAM
Once you have saved an exam, it can be recalled using the Saved Exams screen. The Saved Exams screen
displays exam results saved on the system’s internal memory if no external drives are attached. If a USB drive
is attached, the Saved Exams screen displays exam results saved on the attached drive.
If there are multiple scan results in an exam, the system saves only the largest measurement.
SORT OR SCROLL SCANS
1. On the Home screen, tap
Saved Exams
.
2. If a keypad appears, key in the PIN for Saved Exams, and then tap
Enter
.
The Saved Exams screen opens, displaying a list of exams saved on the default media. Each of the rows
on this list corresponds to an exam.
