PROCEDURE 7. COPY THE SYSTEM’S CONFIGURATION TO OTHER SYSTEMS
After you have set up a BladderScan i10 system with the configuration you want to use throughout your
facility, you can copy the configuration from the first system to all of the others.
Note: The following two procedures copy all settings except for the asset tag on the original system.
EXPORT A SYSTEM’S CONFIGURATION TO A USB FLASH DRIVE
1. Insert a blank USB flash drive into an open USB port on the console.
2. At the Home screen, tap
Settings
.
3. At the Settings screen, tap the
Admin
tab.
4. If a keypad appears, key in the PIN for Settings, and then tap
Enter
.
5. On the Admin tab, tap
Export Settings to USB
.
6. When you are asked if you want to export the settings, tap
Yes
.
7. When the progress indicator disappears, disconnect the USB flash drive from the console.
8. Tap the
Back
button twice. This returns you to the Home screen.
IMPORT A CONFIGURATION TO ANOTHER SYSTEM
When the system detects that a USB flash drive has been connected, it scans the drive for a configuration
file. If it finds one, it automatically proceeds to import the configuration. As a result, you can apply an
exported configuration to a different system by simply connecting the USB flash drive that contains the
configuration. If the system is on, the import process begins automatically; if not, the process begins when
you turn on the system.
Do not begin importing a configuration if any of the following is true:
• The system is performing a scan, or an exam has not been saved.
• The system is busy.
• Another USB flash drive is already connected.
• The system’s battery is less than 20% charged.
When the import is complete, the system restarts with the imported settings in place. To prevent the system
from importing the configuration again, remove the USB flash drive at this point.
