Open the wing nut on the fork lock (counter-
clockwise) and turn the lock 90 degrees into a
vertical position (Fig. 2.1).

Pull the safetly splint out of the front fork by
pressing the release button (Fig. 2.2) and pull out
the safety splint completely or in a way that does
not interfere with the folding.

Set the cranks in a horizontal position. Make sure
that the left crank arm points forward.

Stand next to your VELLO bike on the side of
the drive, hold the handlebar and saddle and
position your left foot on the axle of the rear
wheel (Fig. 2.3).
With one hand, grab the saddle and pull the
rear end of the VELLO bike up with a gentle tug.
Your foot forms the counterforce and the magnet
link opens.

Slowly lift the VELLO bike on the saddle and let
the rear part swing forward.
Turn the handlebar about 60 degrees to the right
and guide the front wheel parallel to the rear
wheel (Fig. 2.4).

Ouvrez l’écrou papillon du verrou de la fourche
(dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre) et
tournez le verrou de 90 degrés en position verticale
(Fig. 2.1).
Retirez l’attelle de sécurité de la fourche avant en
appuyant sur le bouton de déclenchement (Fig.
2.2) et retirez l’attelle de sécurité complètement
ou d’une manière qui n’interfère pas avec le
pliage.
Placez les manivelles en position horizontale.
Assurez-vous que le bras de manivelle gauche est
dirigé vers l’avant.
Mettez-vous à côté de votre VELLO Bike sur le
côté de l’entraînement, tenez le guidon et la
selle et positionnez votre pied gauche sur l’axe
de la roue arrière (Fig. 2.3).
D’une main, saisissez la selle et tirez doucement
sur l’arrière du VELLO Bike. Votre pied forme la
contre-force et le lien magnétique s’ouvre.
Soulevez lentement le VELLO Bike sur la selle et
laissez la partie arrière basculer vers l’avant.
Tournez le guidon d’environ 60 degrés vers la
droite et guidez la roue avant parallèlement à la
roue arrière (Fig. 2.4).
