The following functions are available via the menu bar:
Information Description
Refresh Reloads all cards from the data base
Edit Activates the card name for editing
Deletion Deletes the selected driver cards
This may be necessary due to a driver retiring or a vehicle
being eliminated, for example.
Reminders
Reminders automatically records download reminders in the system.
For each transmission of a driver card or from a download key, the system
automatically creates a download reminder; see also

. The sys-
tem automatically holds all downloaded data from a VDO SmartTerminal and
memorises when a driver has last performed a download or when a download
was last performed for a vehicle.
You can delete any drivers or vehicles which are no longer part of your com-
pany from the list of download reminders.
All reminders are displayed in a list:
Information Description
Name/ vehicle re-
gistration number Unique identification of the driver card / of the download
key
Type Indicates if it is a driver card or a download key
Date Date of the last download of this medium
Due Calculated date when the dates of the driver card / down-
load key need to be downloaded next
Overdue Indicates of the reminder is already overdue
The following functions are available via the menu bar:

Protocol
Protocol contains the current communication between VDO TerminalService
and all VDO SmartTerminals as well as direct messages from the service
which are not allocated to any terminal.
