Information Description
Refresh Reloads all global settings from the data base
Edit Activates the settings for editing
Saving Saves the edits made
The [Save] button becomes active when you are in edit
mode. It allows you to adopt the edits into the data base.
After you have edited a setting, you must manually send
the configuration to the VDO SmartTerminal if you have
not activated automatic transfer.
Cancel Cancels the performed edits
The following settings can be made via the Global area. You can change these
after clicking on the [Edit] button.
Information Description
Reminder time
card download Defines if and when a reminder for the card download is
created in the system
Entering 0 days will deactivate the function.
• Driver card in days
Enter the number of days here after which a download
reminder is to occur. By default, this is 28 days.
• Download key in days
Here, you enter the number of days after which a down-
load reminder is to occur, By default, this is 90 days.
Info text General information for the driver on the VDO SmartTer-
minal
This is displayed while data are transferred onto the VDO
SmartTerminal. The driver may also have this information
displayed later via the “info test” navigation point.
Cards
Cards automatically lists the company cards from all downloads.
