6.12 CCD Parameter Settings (only for NetCamPlus)

This page allows the operating parameters of the CCD image sensor to be configured
and stored. Default parameters, i.e. factory settings, are depicted in the figure below:

6.12.1 Backlight Compensation (BLC)

The backlight compensation feature is useful when objects in the scene are mostly
illuminated from behind. One application example is an enhanced identification of ob-
jects in front of a bright background. Switching on backlight compensation will restrict
exposure control to an area in the center of the scene instead of averaging over the
