Feature License

To access the
Feature License
fields:
1. Navigate to
System Configuration
>
Manage Configuration
>
Feature License
section.
Starting with v4.1 and beyond, 9000 encoders can be augmented through the purchase of
additional feature license keys. These keys will unlock features and capabilities within the
9000.
Use the
Feature License
section to install additional features you have purchased by
uploading a
Feature License Key
. You may also check what additional features have already
been installed on your encoder next to the
Installed Feature Licenses
label. The various
licenses you are able to install are described below.
Presenter Encoder Feature License
The purchase and installation of a
Presenter Encoder Feature License
will convert any 9000
encoder into a Presenter encoder with presentation features available such as the ability for
end users to stream video and Webcasts directly from the 9000 using an intuitive
Presenter
Mode
interface.

To install a Presenter Encoder Feature License:
1. Provide VBrick Support Services with the MAC address to your encoder.
2. Obtain the license file from Support Services that is created for your encoder.
3. Install the feature license as described above. The license will take effect immediately.

button to locate the license key file on your local
drive. Depending on the feature being installed, you may obtain the
file through support or VBrick’s Download site.
Install Feature
License Click the
Install
button to upload the license key file to the encoder.
Installed Feature
Licenses Details all currently installed feature licenses.
