Access Presenter Mode and Controls
Presenter Mode is accessed by clicking the
Manage Presentation
button found in two areas:
• The
Manage Presentation
button will be available from the encoder Login screen if
Presenter Mode is enabled without requiring a user to log in. (This check box option is
enabled on the
System Configuration
>
Advanced Configuration
> Security screen)
• The
Manage Presentation
button is always available from the left navigation menu under
the Presenter Mode Status Bar (once a user is logged in).
Presenter Encoder Dashboard
The Presenter encoder dashboard functions much like the standard encoder Dashboard.
There are a few slight differences, however, such as the ability to view Presenter Mode states
under
Program
. Specifics used in the program are also noted such as background color,
border, and template used.
Further, a new
Video Encode
box displays rates for a Presenter encoder while all audio and
video channels that are not assigned to the presentation are shown below the others instead
of next to the
Program
box as normally seen on a standard encoder Dashboard.
Broadcasting & Recording
: Status when Presenter Mode has been
started and is currently broadcasting to a live audience and is
recording the presentation.
Not Broadcasting
: Status when a presentation has been started but
users cannot see the stream for some reason. This may be because
there are no functioning transmitters or servers and the admin will
need to use the various status and config pages to troubleshoot and
fix the issue. If a presentation is both Paused and Not
Broadcasting, Not Broadcasting takes priority.
