3.6.6  Control algorithms 

 
This valve is equipped with 3 different types of control algorithms. These are: 

 

Adaptive algorithm (automatic PI adjustment) 

 

To use the adaptive algorithm the valve must undergo the LEARN procedure prior to pressure control 

operation. Refer to chapter: 3.6.5.1 Adaptive algorithm.

 

 

Fixed PI algorithm 

 

To use the fixed PI algorithm the PI values must be calculated according to the process condition. Refer to 

chapter: 3.6.5.2 Fixed PI. 

 

Soft pump 

 

To use the P control algorithm the P values must be calculated according to the process condition. Refer to 

chapter: 3.6.5.3 Soft pump. 

 

 
Prior to pressure control operation the control type must be selcted and the valve must be prepared accordingly.
