PREPARATIONS
In order to determine whether the installation of the ventilation unit is possible
in a specific room, account must be taken of the following aspects:
• the room must be frost-free
• the installation must be done in accordance with the general and locally
applicable safety and installation instructions for (amongst other things)
ventilation, electricity and sewer systems as well as in accordance with
the rules outlined in this manual
• the following facilities must be present in the room:
- air duct connections
- 230V±10%, single-phase, 50Hz socket
- facility for the condensation drain
• no building material may be allowed to get into the ventilation unit or the
air duct system
• respect accessibility, see mounting of ventilation unit
It is not allowed to connect an extractor hood with motor or a dryer
to the ventilation unit.

The ventilation unit can be easily mirrored so that the home connections can
be on the right or left side.
