Exporting Your Tests to a PC – cont.
There are two different file types that are generated by the g -Analyst software.
The first is the ‘Capture…’ file type. Files that start with ‘Capture…’ store the raw data
from any g-Analyst test sessions.
The second is the ‘Summary…’ file type. Files that start with ‘Summary…’ store a
summary of the g-Analyst test session along with any results and test notes.
If you are not sure which file(s) that you want to import into Excel, then you should start
by converting the ‘Summary…’ files and looking at the test-types and test notes. Once
you know which files that you need, you can convert the ‘Capture…’ files.
