g-analyst Quick Start Reference Guide
SPEED:
1.
You must be at zero vehicle speed to start testing sequence
2.
Hit OK
3.
Wait while you see the message "calibrating“
4.
Begin your acceleration when you see "GO" and/or hear a 'beep‘
5.
When the scroll bar is complete and/or you hear a 'beep', your test is done.
6.
Review your test data on the screen or hit OK to review later.
DISTANCE:
1.
You must be at zero vehicle speed to start testing sequence
2.
Hit OK
3.
Wait while you see the message “Calibrating”
4.
Begin your acceleration when you see “GO” and/or hear a “beep”
5.
When the scroll bar is complete and/or you hear a “Beep”, your test is done.
6.
Review your test data on the screen or hit OK to review later.
BRAKING:
1.
You must be at zero vehicle speed to start testing sequence
2.
Hit OK
3.
Wait while you see the message “calibrating”
4.
Begin your acceleration once you see “GO” and / or hear a “beep”.
5.
Begin braking once you hear a second “beep”.
6.
Review your test data on the screen or hit OK to review later.

1.
You must be at zero vehicle speed to start testing sequence.
2.
Hit OK
3.
Wait while you see the message “calibrating”
4.
Begin your accelerations when you see “GO” and / or hear a “Beep”
5.
Hit OK when finished.
g LINK: DATALOGGER
1.
Hit the LOG button to start your testing sequence. You can select to ‘zero’ the g -analyst if desired.
2.
Hit pause to create a break in the data.
3.
Hit LOG after pause to continue data collection
4.
Review your data on screen by selecting GRAPH or OK to review later.
g LINK: REAL-TIME
1.
Hit START. You can ‘zero’ the g-analyst if desired
2.
If zeroing, wait while you see the message "calibrating"
3.
Data options include:left/right, snake, gas/brake
4.
Change the scale as necessary while monitoring the data
Vehicle Info.
Enter the vehicle info that you would like saved in the data files.
Calibrate
Enter the sensor data provided to calibrate your individual accelerometer.
