Top Menu and Start/Stop
To start the g-Analyst, just press ‘1’ and the values will start being displayed. To stop, press the
space-bar and then enter.
Active Channel Select
Selection #2 is for setting the active channels that the unit will report. As a default, the g-Analyst
reports all channels. Pressing the ‘2’ will enter the active channel select mode. You will be
prompted for each channel (X, Y and Z) to be set. Press ‘y’ or ‘n’ to make you selection.
Calibrate
It is not recommended that you use the g-Analyst in gravity mode at this time. Therefore,
calibration is un-necessary. However, the following procedure may be fo llowed if you choose to
use the gravity mode.
Press ‘3’ from the top menu to enter calibration mode. You will be prompted to manipulate the
g-Analyst into various positions that maximize and minimize the readings and to press ‘enter.’
Note: calibration must be performed every time that the sensor g-range is changed (see below).
Sensor Range
Press ‘4’ from the top menu to enter the sensor ranger setting mode. You will be prompted to set
