For optimum adjustment of the measuring point, the individual sub-
menu items in the main menu item "
Setup
" should be selected one
after the other and provided with the correct parameters. If possible,
go through the items in the given sequence.

Here you can assign a suitable measurement loop name. Push the
"
OK
" key to start the editing. With the "
+
" key you change the sign and
with the "
-
>" key you jump to the next position.
You can enter names with max. 19 characters. The character set
comprises:
•
Capital letters from A … Z
•
Numbers from 0 … 9
•
Special char - / _ blanks
In this menu item you select the distance unit and the temperature
unit.
For the distance units you can choose between m, mm and ft and for
the temperature units °C, °F and K.
In this menu item you can enter the probe length or have the length
determined automatically by the sensor system.
When choosing "
Yes
", then the probe length will be determined
automatically. When choosing "
No
", you can enter the probe length
manually.
