IMPROPER INSTALLATION
The use of other components other than stated herein
could cause bodily harm, heater damage, and void your
warranty. The manufacturer will not be held responsible
for damage caused by the malfunction of a stove due to
improper venting or installation.
FLOOR PROTECTION
This heater must have a non-combustible floor protector
(UL1618 ember protection) installed beneath it if the
floor is of combustible material.
USA-
The floor protector should be listed to UL 1618 or
equivalent to type 1 ember floor protection. The floor
protection must extend 6” (153mm) to the front, 6”
(153mm) on each side and 1” to the rear of the appliance.
Under and 2” (51mm) beyond each side of cleanout tee
if indoor vertical installation. See diagram for further
information
Canada -
Floor protector must comply with CAN/ULC
standards. Must extend 18” (458mm) forward and 8”
(204mm) beyond each side of unit.

in residential, mobile home / transportable building in
accordance with the clearances given below. For safety
reasons, please adhere to the installation clearances and
restrictions. Any reduction in clearance to combustibles
may only be done by means approved by a regulatory
authority.
