Caution
Be careful when removing the card if it becomes stuck. Pull the card
straight up and not backwards for best results. Otherwise, you may
damage the track.
4. If the Track Clearing Card or documents stop in the track, you may have to
remove the removable track wall. Refer to “Removable Track Wall” in
Section 5.
5. Remove any obstructions, and replace the removable track wall and all
covers.
6. Return the Track Clearing Card to its place of storage in the base of the
Source NDP unit as shown in Figure 6-1.
7. When ready to continue processing documents, go to step 3 in
“Recovering from Processing Problems,” earlier in this section.
Problem Identification and Recovery
Use the Condition, Cause, and Correction Table in this section to identify
possible problems and attempt to recover. The information in the table
assumes that a unit has been running successfully.
For newly installed units, notify your supervisor or site administrators about
problems that are not routine. Detailed troubleshooting procedures for
supervisors and site administrators are in electronic documents on the
Source NDP CD-ROM.
