Removal and Replacement of Source NDP Components

Loop Cover 

The loop cover fits over the inside part of the track loop.  To remove, grasp 
and pull up on the cover as shown in Figure 5-7.  Replace by reversing the 
motion.

Removable Track Wall 

You will need to remove the removable track wall to clean the image glass and 
to sometimes clear the track.  Figure 1-2 shows the location of the track wall 
and release levers.  Replacement track walls are available from Unisys Direct.  

Cautions 

Be sure the document processor is connected to an AC power source 
before removing the covers. Otherwise, electrostatic discharge may 
damage the unit. 

 

Remove the removable track wall as follows:  

1.  Remove the top-left cover.  Refer to Figure 5-1.
