3. Disconnect the LAN cable from the PC card. Refer to Figure 5-13.

4. To install a PC Card, do the following (the reverse of the previous steps):

a. Connect the cable from the LAN or PC to the PC Card.

b. If required, ensure the ferrite bead in its nylon case is installed on the

LAN cable near the PC card as shown in Figure 5-14. This is required
for protection against electromagnetic interference.

c. Push the card into the slot at the rear of the unit until it clicks into

place.
