code line

The magnetic ink or optically read characters encoded on the front of a
document.

Common API

Unisys open system software architecture (an application programming
interface) used for running networked document processors and common
applications. It provides the means to connect document processors in a
networked environment.

Consultative Committee on International Telephone and Telegraph
(CCITT)

The committee that defines standard data compression algorithms for black
