6.6.10.2 Setting the screensaver –
ScrSaver
The next selection window under
GLOBAL SETTINGS
is the menu
ScrSaver
.
This sub-menu is used to adjust the screensaver.
The currently valid parameter is displayed.
• Press key [ ] to open the menu

• Select the setting with the navigation keys [ ► ] and [ ◄ ].
The currently valid line is highlighted in color.
The value can be set between
Never
(no active screensaver) and
3600 s
.
• Press key [ ] to activate the selected parameter and to exit the menu.

GLOBAL SETTINGS
is displayed again.)
or
• Press key [
ESC
] to reject the changes.
(The main menu
GLOBAL SETTINGS
is displayed again.)
Additional saving under the main menu
EXIT/SAVE
is not required for settings made under
GLOBAL SETTINGS
.
NOTE
In this case the UFP will first display a text message, before the screen switches to
black.
With the PC program "UFPTool" the user can edit the corresponding text.
NOTE
If the video source has a screensaver to darken the screen, the UFP is able to detect
this screensaver and to switch off the TFT-display in order to prolong its lifetime.
This menu allows to set whether the screen is to be switched off and after what time.
