NOTE:
The SMART 3000 reads the switch settings on power up only. If you
change any DIP switch settings, you must cycle power or press the reset
button (through the access hole in bottom of housing) before these
changes will take effect.
It is expected that only qualified people will adjust to these DIP switch settings.
Knowledge of the HVAC system under the control of the SMART 3000 is essential
prior to making any adjustment to these DIP switch settings.
CAUTION:
Incorrect adjustment of these DIP switch settings
could cause HVAC equipment damage. This will NOT be
covered by warranty.
Switch 1 – Indoor Fan Mode
Switch 1 sets the function of the fan relays for three fan speeds or single fan
speed with 1 heat and 1 cool operation.
Switch 2 – Equipment Type
Both heat pump or heat with add-on cooling types of systems can be controlled
by the SMART 3000.
Heat / Cool Systems use the W terminal(s) only for heating and the Y terminal(s)
only for cooling.
