Reassembling the Sensor Head
Use clean gloves in handling the internal electrode. If it is stained
with oil or contaminated, the pressure indication may be affected by
outgas.
Use clean gloves
Dry up electrode parts. If not, the instrument may be damaged by
poor insulation.
Dry up parts
Make sure that the anode pin is in the center of magnetic pole 2.
Otherwise, it may come into contact with the magnetic pole or the
pressure indication may be low.
Check the center axis of anode
10.7.1.
Reassembly
Reassemble the sensor head referring to the exploded view in Fig. 10-3.
The reassembling procedure is reverse to the disassembling procedure.
10.7.2.
Checking the Anode Position
Observe the anode from the port side of the sensor head and make sure that the anode
pin is at the center of the magnetic pole 2, as shown in Fig. 10-19. If it is not at the
center, reassemble the sensor head or make adjustment using a degreased clean bar so
that the anode is at the center of the anode.
Fig. 10-19 Anode position after reassembly
The anode pin is to be in the center
of the magnetic pole 2.
Look into the depth in
the arrow direction.
