Important: In case of application on the left arm, the
air hose runs to the device in the middle of the crook
of the arm and, in this way, the stethoscope membra-
ne is placed above the pulse location.
In case of application on the right arm, the cuff must
be twisted to the left until the stethoscope membrane
is on the pulse location. The air hose then runs on
the inner side of the upper arm. The stethoscope
membrane must be on the pulse location. The more
accurately the membrane is placed on the pulse
location, the louder the pulse sounds heard.
Note:
Under no circumstances place the
device over a critical location (e.g.
wound, intravascular access).
