The cuff must not be washed or cleaned

chemically.

1. Disinfecting and cleaning

Clean the device with a soft, slightly moistened cloth

and some cleaning agent only. Stains on the cuff

can be removed carefully with a moist cloth and

soapy water. Employ no benzene, paint thinner or

other strong solvents. Do not scrub the cuff or wash

the cuff in a washing machine. Employ a synthetic

cleaning agent and scrape the surface gently. If the

device has been opened, it must be subjected to a

measurement-technical control check through an

authorized institution.

For possible disinfection, we recommend the agent

Descosept AF, Dr. Schumacher GmbH, Melsungen.
