• Unusual results of measurement
Every measurement depends for the most part on
the circumstances during the measurement. Often,
enough time is not taken before a measurement
in order to allow the circulation to calm sufficiently,
or incorrect cuff sizes are employed or even
movement or speech occurs during the measure-
ment. See also table measurement and operating
faults; Page 50.
Where appropriate, make a check on yourself.
Did you comply with all the conditions? Take time
to take your measurement; you are checking your
own health!
If you desire special information about your
blood pressure, you should consult your
doctor. Never draw any conclusions your-
self based on the results of measurement.
Keep the device out of the reach of children
and do not to wrap hoses around your neck
in order to preclude any hazard of possible
accidental strangulation.
