Now pull the free cuff end tight and placed it firmly
over about the binder zip. Place the left arm with the
cuff stretched out on a table and hold it absolutely
calm during the measurement; do not speak. The
palm of the hand faces upwards.
3. Putting on the stethoscope
Put on earpiece loops of the stethoscope so that the
earpieces sit securely in the ears. For trouble-free
seating of the stethoscope, the tubes of the earpiece
loop can be rotated. It is best to rotate the earpieces
slightly forward.
The device is equipped with a special air-venting
valve which very much simplifies the ventilation
of the cuff.
Please note that the first pump squeeze
action closes this air-venting valve automa-
tically in case of a measurement. For this
reason, begin the measurement with an initial
vigorous pump squeeze action.
