RESETTING
If the system does not respond or exhibits erratic or intermittent operation, you
may have experienced an electrostatic discharge (ESD) or a power surge that
triggered the internal microcontroller to shut down automatically. If this occurs,
simply disconnect the AC power cord and remove the system backup battery, wait
for at least 3 minutes and then setup the unit again as if it is a brand new unit.
WARNING
1. No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the
apparatus.
2. Do not place the product in closed bookcases or racks without proper
ventilation.
3. Where the mains plug is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device
shall remain readily operable.
4. The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings
with items, such as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc.
5. It shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with
liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
6. Do not connect FM antenna to outside antenna.
7. The unit should not be exposed to direct sunlight, very high or low temperature,
moisture, vibrations or placed in dusty environment.
8. Do not use abrasive, benzene, thinner or other solvents to clean the surface of
the unit. To clean, wipe it will mild non-abrasive detergent solution and clean
soft cloth.
9. Never attempt to insert wires, pins or other such objects into the vents or
opening of the unit.
10. Disconnect device warning: Mains plug is used as the connection, so it should
always remain ready operate.
11. Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the
like.
CAUTION
Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same
or equivalent type. Repairs and other work undertaken on the unit must only be
done by authorised specialist personnel!

NETZANSCHLUSS
Verbinden Sie das Netzkabel mit einer Steckdose. Dieses Gerät verfügt über eine
interne Energieversorgung mit 1x3V CR2032 Lithium Batterien (nicht mitgeliefert).
Setzen Sie die Batterien in das Batteriefach und achten Sie dabei auf korrekte
Polung (+ und -), so dass die jeweiligen Pole an den dazugehörigen Anschlüssen
im Batteriefach liegen. Bei einem Stromausfall schaltet die Uhr auf die interne
Energieversorgung und die Weckeinstellungen bleiben erhalten. Steht die Netz
-
spannung wieder zur Verfügung, stellt die Uhr wieder auf Netzbetrieb um.
EINSCHALTEN/STANDBY
1. Drücken Sie im Standby-Modus einmal die Taste POWER ON - OFF (1), um
das Gerät einzuschalten.
2. Drücken Sie die Taste POWER ON - OFF (1) erneut, um wieder in den
Standby-Modus zurückzukehren.
MANUELLE ZEITEINSTELLUNG
1. Halten Sie die Taste CLK.ADJ (2) gedrückt, bis die Zeitanzeige anfängt zu
blinken.
2. Die Taste << TUNE DOWN/HOUR (3) erhöht die Stunden.
3. Die Taste >> TUNE UP/MIN (4) erhöht die Minuten.
4. Sobald die Zeit korrekt eingestellt wurde, drücken Sie die Taste CLK.ADJ (2).
HINWEIS:
• Drücken Sie einmal die Taste >> TUNE UP/MIN (4) oder <<TUNE DOWN/
HOUR (3), um eine Zahl schrittweise zu erhöhen.
• Halten Sie die Taste >> TUNE UP/MIN oder << TUNE DOWN/HOUR gedrückt,
um Zahlen schnell zu erhöhen.
EINSTELLEN DES WECKERS
Sie können zwei separate Weckereinstellungen vorbelegen und speichern. Damit
können Sie einen Wecker für sich und einen zweiten als Sicherheit einstellen,
oder den zweiten zeitlich unabhängigen Wecker für einen Partner verwenden.
WECKER 1 (oder 2) EINSTELLEN
1. Bitte achten Sie darauf, dass das Radio ausgeschaltet ist.
2. Halten Sie die Taste VOLUME DOWN (oder UP)/ALARM 1 (oder 2) ON - OFF
SET (5 oder 6) zum Einstellen von WECKER 1 gedrückt. Die Weckzeit blinkt
auf dem Display.
