CAN RECEIVER ERROR CODES
(See Figure 34)
Never attempt to open the CAN Receiver case, there
are no user serviceable parts inside. If the receiver has
failed or lost its programs, it will need replacement.
The CAN Receiver stores and processed the
programming to operate the electronic control box. The
receiver has two small indicator lights, one green and
one red. When the system is operating normally, the
green light will be on (a flickering of the light is normal).
In the event that an operating or physical problem
occurs, the red light will flash. The red light will flash
1 flash for error code EC01, two flashes for error code
EC02, and so on up to 8 flashes for error code EC08.
The red light will blink the code, then pause and repeat
the pattern.
The CAN receiver will also send the same error code to
the control box display. Note an “E” in the first digit space
on the display. This indicates that an error is detected.
The error code can be viewed in the display by pressing
and holding the lockout button while toggling between
screens with the “B” and “C” preset buttons. Compare
the code to the list on the front of the CAN receiver.
