ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION
Step 1.
(See Figure 2)
Unpack the WideSpin 1540
TEC.
● Remove the top, sides and ends from the crate. Do
not remove the WideSpin 1540 TEC from the crate
base. The hopper loading fin and the lifting brace will
be installed on the WideSpin 1540 TEC while it is still
on the crate base. Do Not remove the front shipping
mounts

Do Not remove the screws

securing
the machine to the front shipping mounts and crate
base.

● Locate the electronic control box

. Verify that it
is secure in the hanger bracket on the side of the
hopper.
● Locate and unpack the lifting brace

and hopper
loading fin

from the hopper.
● Locate and unpack the front mounting brace
[6]
.
Locate and unpack the rear mounting pins
[6]
(pins
may be inserted in the rear mounts). Refer to the
Figure 2 to identify the parts.
● Remove any remaining packing material and
cardboard from the inside of the hopper.
Step 2.

Install the rear hopper loading
fin

.
● Install the loading fin to the rear hopper panel.
Insert the fin into the slots in the panel. Use six 1/4”
screw

inserted from the inside of the hopper.
Secure with 1/4” nuts

Step 3.

Install the lifting brace

● Install the lifting brace

to the hopper using the
pins and hairpin cotters
