F2 Function
The default function assigned to the F2 function button is ‘Next Mode’.
When the SAM-Q-SDI has been configured to provide more than one Operational Mode (see Operator
Permissions page 40), the Next Mode function allows Users of the SAM-Q-SDI to switch to the Next
available Operational Mode using the F2 button.

Dims all audio outputs of the SAM-Q-SDI by -20dB

Mutes all audio outputs of the SAM-Q-SDI

Select Hold Function
The Select Hold function is activated when any of the Source Select buttons are pressed and held.
When the SAM-Q-SDI has been configured to allow any of the following Operational Modes to be selected
by the user (see Operator Permissions page 40), the Solo function allows Users of the SAM-Q-SDI to Solo
any audio source whilst the corresponding Audio Select button is pushed and held.

The Mix L/R function allows the following:
Any selected audio source comprising a single audio channel can be panned so that it is heard in the Left-
Hand audio outputs of the SAM-Q-SDI, the Right-Hand audio outputs of the SAM-Q-SDI or both outputs
simultaneously.
