Operational Mode

Probe Detail
Probe Detail mode displays Momentary, Short-Term and Integrated loudness meters belonging to a single
loudness probe, alongside a numerical display showing Momentary, Short-Term, Integrated and LRA
values.
Loudness Detail mode provides a loudness metering of any selected loudness probe whilst also providing
Start, Stop and Reset buttons for Integrated and LRA measurement.
Any one of the 8 available loudness probes can be selected as required, simply by rotating the small
encoder on the left-hand side of the front-panel.
When a loudness probe is selected for monitoring, a downmix will be presented to all SAM-Q-SDI audio
outputs.
Only Audio Select buttons 5, 6 and 7 are active in this Operational Mode, allowing Loudness Measurement
to be Started, Stopped or Reset for the currently selected Loudness Probe.

Please note that Loudness Start, Stop and Reset functions can be Disabled if required (See page 69).
