Chapter 5:
Setup for ISDN services

The drivers of the Trust Communicator ISDN 128 Internal
must be installed using the instructions from chapter 4. There
are many different services for ISDN. This part will explain
how to set up the Trust Communicator ISDN 128 Internal to
use the correct protocols and select the right driver. You can
also use the services provided by the application program on
CD-ROM. This program allows you to send a fax message to
a traditional non-ISDN fax machine and gives your access to
the most popular ISDN services. Refer to the manual on the
CD-ROM cover and the on-line help on how to install and use
this software. This section describes the set-up for other
applications.

5.1 The VCOM modem emulator

Installed together with the CAPI driver, the Trust.VCOM driver
automatically sets up a series of preconfigured modems. To
make sure, just take a look at the modem list under ‘Modems’
in the ‘Control Panel’.

You can use these modems as if they were conventional
devices:
