• To activate or de-activate the locking code

1- Tap on the

function key in the standby screen of the Telephone application.

2- Use the or the key on the virtual keyboard to bring up the

Settings

screen.

3- Tap on the

Settings

screen.

4- Tap on

Phone Settings

5- Use the key on the virtual keyboard to go to the next page of the Phone Settings

options.

6- Tap on

Security

7- Tap on

Phone lock code

8- Tap on

Off

9- If you have chosen to amend the status, enter your locking code to effect this

modification.

10- Then tap on the

function key.

To return to the standby screen, tap on the

Exit

function key or on the key on the virtual

keyboard.

PLEASE NOTE: When this feature is activated, it is always possible to dial the emergency

numbers without having to enter the locking code.

• The PIN number

Your SIM card includes a

number of 4 to 8 digits which protects it from any

unauthorised use.

When this protection is activated, the

number must be entered each time you wish

to open the Telephone application on your Mondo.

If an error is made three times in a row when entering the

number, your SIM

card is blocked and you will have to enter the 8 digit

PUK

number supplied by your

operator (see page 43).

- To activate or de-activate protection by PIN number:

1- Tap on the

function key in the standby screen of the Telephone application.

2- Use the or the key on the virtual keyboard to bring up the

Settings

screen.

3- Tap on the

Settings

screen.

4- Tap on

Phone Settings

5- Use the key on the virtual keyboard to go to the next page of the Phone Settings

options.

6- Tap on

Security

If the protection by PIN number is currently de-activated, the option

PIN enable

will appear at the top of the list displayed.

If protection by PIN number is currently activated, the option

PIN disable

will

appear at the top of the list displayed.

7- If you wish to amend the status of the current protection, tap on PIN enable or PIN

disable (otherwise, tap on the Exit function key).

8- Enter your

number in order to effect this modification.

9- Then tap on the

function key.

The message

PIN

enabled or

PIN disabled

will appear briefly on the screen.
