• Speed dialling
The numbers recorded in the directory of your Mondo or your SIM card may be associated
with the
to
number keys on the soft keyboard (see below).
By default, the
number key on the soft keyboard is always allocated to the number
of your voice message service.
To call a correspondent, you then need only tap and hold your stylus on the number
key allocated to him.
If there is just one number in memory for this correspondent (which is the case for all
the numbers recorded in the directory of your SIM card), this number is immediately
displayed on the screen.
If several telephone numbers have been recorded for this correspondent (which may be
the case for numbers recorded in the directory of your Mondo), the list of numbers for this
correspondent is displayed and you have to select the number you want.
By default, key
is always allocated to your voice mail centre. This operation is carried
out automatically when the number of your voice mail centre is recorded (for further
details, see page 44).
- To allocate telephone numbers to the number keys of the virtual keyboard:
1- Tap on the
Menu
function key in the standby screen of the Telephone application.
2- Use the or the key on the virtual keyboard to bring up the
Settings
screen.
3- Tap on the
Settings
screen.
4- Tap on
Phone Settings
.
5- Use the key on the virtual keyboard to go to the next page of the Phone Settings
options.
6- Tap on
Function Keys
.
7- Tap on
Speed dial
.
The screen displayed informs you that
Key 1
of the virtual keyboard has been allocated to the
number of your voice mail centre (
Voice Mail service
). If the number of your voice message
centre is recorded in your phone book you cannot amend this setting.
8- Use the key on the virtual keyboard to go to the next page.
The program screen for Key 2 will appear.
9- If you wish to allocate a telephone number to
Key 2
(or amend the number currently
allocated to it) tap on the
Names
function key to access your directory.
10- Use the or the key on the virtual keyboard to select a name or telephone
number in your directory.
11- Tap on the
Select
function key.
You will return to the program screen for
Key 2
. The name or telephone number selected will
appear on the screen.
12- Use the key on the virtual keyboard to go to the program screen for
Key 3
, and so
on.
PLEASE NOTE: When a number allocated to a speed dialling key is deleted from
the directory, the corresponding key is no longer allocated to any number. You may
reprogram it if you wish by following the instructions above.
To return to the standby screen, tap on the
Exit
function key or on the key on the
virtual keyboard.
