The Micron Modem will only accept
RS232
commands at
9600
baud on the Main Port when
the unit is idle.
By waiting more than two seconds, the input buffer will automatically be flushed, guaranteeing
that RS232 commands will be accepted. Alternatively this can be managed by keeping tight
control over how many characters are sent to the unit and making sure that it is a multiple of
four before issuing an RS232 command. The Micron Modems will fill out unused characters
with NULL characters after the two seconds timeout and transmit four characters acoustically.
The supported command set in the Micron Modem are

initialises and is able to operate in the new mode.
