To change the center frequency, press the

The Spectrum mode can be set to hold the maximum (peak) spectrum
data for display. Each time the
SPECT
SPECT
6 PQR
key is pressed, the Model Three
switches between Live and Max modes.
MAX
appears in the upper-right
corner of the display when this mode is used. The Max hold data is
retained as long as the Model Three is on. To reset the Max hold data in
Spectrum mode, you must select
RESET MAX HOLD
in the
MEASUREMENTS SETUP
menu.
You may wish to stop the scanning process so you can study the graph.
In the Spectrum screen, simply press the

marker stops moving. To resume scanning, press the

While in the Spectrum mode, you can use
Fast Setup (press SET once) to go directly to
the Measurement Setup parameters, including
Reset Max Hold.
