ETUP/CAL
- This key sets the scale to display zero.
LOCAL/REMOTE
- This key is toggle the weight indication between local scale (TC-2005)
nd remote scale, if configured. See Section 3.3.2 below for more information.

KEY TARE
– This key is used to enter a known tare value utilizing the numeric keyboard.

CLR -
This key is used primarily to clear the current APW (Average Piece Weight) and tare
weight from the scale. This key can also be used to clear a numeric entry in case an error
as been made.

D
ec Pt -
This key is used to enter a decimal point during numeric entry.
ENT -
This key is used to enter the currently keyed-in value into the system.
3.3 GENERAL SCALE OPERATION
3.3.1 WEIGHING AN ITEM ON THE TC-2005
1. Ensure that the LOC annunciator is lit. If it is not, press the Local/Remote key once.
2. If necessary, press the Zero key to obtain a weight reading of zero.
3. Place the object to be weighed on the scale’s platter and allow the weight indication to
stabilize. If the item weight exceeds the scale’s weight capacity, it displays “o o o o o”.
4. Read the weight shown on the display.
Note:
If you wish to change the unit of measure, press the UNIT key.
