Interface Specifications
3.3.2.1
Serial
The serial interface is a standard RS-232 interface on a 9-pin, D-shell connector. It is defined as a
standard DTE device. A null modem cable is required to interface the printer to another DTE device (a
personal computer). See the serial port description later in this manual.
3.3.2.2
Parallel
The parallel port is a standard 25-pin, D-shell as defined in the IEEE 1284-A Standard. See the parallel
port description later in this manual.
3.3.2.3
Cash Drawer
The Series 90PLUS Printer supports dual cash drawers with status. The interface will provide status
and 24 VDC at up to 1.5 amps to the cash drawer. See the cash drawer interface description later in this
manual.
