INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: A 1965 Mustang was used for the following images and may show slight differences from the later
Mustang and Cougar platforms. The installation procedure is identical.
STEERING COLUMN REMOVAL
1. Push the horn ring inward and turn
counter-clockwise to remove.
2. Remove steering wheel nut.
3. Using a steering wheel puller to remove
the steering wheel.
4. Remove the spring and upper bearing.
Save the parts for reassembly.
