Procedure 2

Printer Port LED Check

The printer port LED displays the IRT status and test status by turning lights on and off as an eight-
digit binary value. Figure 2-2 shows the printer port LED.

NOTE: When you perform this check, the external FDD/PRT option in the SETUP program
must be set to PRT.

To use the printer port LED, follow these steps:

1.

Turn off the T3300SL’s power.

2.

Plug the printer port LED into the T3300SL’s

PRT/FDD

connector.

3.

Turn on the T3300SL’s power.

4.

Read the final LED status from left to right as you are facing the back of the computer.
