Chapter 2
The Grand Tour
This chapter identifies the various components of your computer. Become
familiar with each component before you operate the computer.
Front with the display closed
The following figure shows the computer's front with its display panel in the
closed position.

The speakers emit sound generated by your
software as well as audio alarms, such as low
battery condition, generated by the system.
Power
The Power indicator glows green when the
computer is on. If you select Standby from Turn
Off Computer, this indicator flashes orange
(one second on, two seconds off) while the
computer enters Standby mode.
Battery
The Battery indicator shows the condition of the
battery's charge: Green indicates a full charge,
orange indicates that the battery is charging and
flashing orange indicates a low battery charge.
