Writing CDs on a DVD-ROM and CD-R/RW drive
Depending on the type of drive installed, you may be able to write CDs. The
DVD-ROM and CD-R/RW drive lets you read DVD-ROMs and CDs as well
as write CD-Rs/RWs. Observe the precautions in this section to ensure the
best performance for writing CDs. For information on loading and unloading
CDs refer to the Using the optical media drive section.
Important message (DVD-ROM and CD-R/RW drive)
Before you write to CD-R/CD-RW disc or rewrite to CD-RW disc, read and
follow all setup and operating instructions in this section.
If you fail to do so, the DVD-ROM and CD-R/RW drive may not function
properly, and you may fail to write or rewrite, loose data or incur other
damage.
Play/Pause
Press the button to begin or pause playing.
Stop
Press the button to stop playing.
CD-R discs can be written to only once. CD-RW discs can be rewritten
many times.
