CHANGE FTP
PASSWORDS
For added system security some of the system passwords must be
changed from the default settings.
1.
Login to Enterprise Manager.
2.
If this is a multi-node system select the server.
3.
Select
Application > Webmin
.
4.
In Webmin select
System > Change Passwords
.
5.
Click on
ftp
.
6.
Enter the
New password
,
7.
Click on the
Change
button.
8.
Click on
Return to user list
.
9.
Click on
admin
.
10. Enter the
New password
,
11. Click on the
Change
button.
12. Click on
Return to user list
.
13. Click on
techsupport
.
14. Enter the
New password
,
15. Click on the
Change
button.
16. Close the Webmin window.
CHANGE ROOT
PASSWORD
The Linux operating System root password must be changed from the
default for added system security.
1.
Login to Enterprise Manager.
2.
If this is a multi-node system select the server.
3.
Select
Application > Webmin
.
4.
In Webmin select
System > Change Passwords
.
5.
Click on
root
.
6.
Enter the
New password
,
7.
Click on the
Change
button.
8.
Close the Webmin window.
Important!
Record the new passwords in a safe location. If you
forget or lose the passwords the only recovery is to re-
install the server software. Do NOT change any other
passwords.
MEDIA SERVER SETUP
This is a resource to mix voices of more than two parties. Call processing
uses the mixer for Ad-hoc Conference, Privacy override and other barge-
in features, Privacy-release, ACD monitor, etc. Note that the IP
edge
system will not use mixing functions inside terminals.
The media server is involved in audio processing in the IP
edge
system.
The three basic audio processing functions are; to play, record, and mix
audio streams. These functions are used for Music on Hold, Group
