26. Verify that the OS boot Watchdog Timer is
Disabled
. If it is disabled
go to

29. The system will restart.
The system has been returned to its as-shipped condition. Remember
that the IP addresses, User Names and Passwords are reset to their
default values.
Restore Database
If a backup file is available use the following outline.
1.
Refer to

procedures required to set the server name and IP addresses.

If this is a stand-alone server or Primary node go to

After the new system setup steps. Change the server to Member
status.
4.
Access the restored server from the Primary server Enterprise
Manager.
5.
Apply all licenses.
6.
Restore the database. Refer to
the
“MANUAL RESTORE” on page Chapter 7 –-6
section.
7.
Synchronize the database.
EP SERVER RESTORE
The IP
edge
EP server uses a USB drive for the software recovery
process.
Recovery USB Flash Drive
The follow procedure covers the creation of a Recovery USB flash drive.
The USB flash drive:
•
Must have a minimum capacity of 4 GB
•
Format must be FAT32
•
Single partition
•
This drive must be used only for IP
edge
EP system software
reocovery.
Important!
The following procedure will format the USB flash drive.
Any data on the drive will be lost.
1.
Before starting this procedure perform a virus check on the USB flash
drive using a PC.
2.
Insert USB flash drive into a connector on the IP
edge
EP server.
3.
Login the Enterprise Manager. Select
Application > Webmin
.
4.
In Webmin select
IP
edge
>
Make MBR in USB
. in webmin to create
MBR in USB flash drive.
