3.1 Configuration of the FL654A Remote I/O Station
The FL654A remote I/O station consists of only the basic unit, or basic unit and expansion unit.
The basic unit consists of the power supply module, the FL654A, and the G2 I/O module on the
dual-purpose basic and expansion base. To extend the unit, install the expansion interface.
The expansion unit consists of a power supply module, a G2 I/O module, and an expansion interface
on a dual-purpose basic and expansion base.
Each expansion interface is connected with an expansion cable. The maximum unit configuration is
4 units.
Figure 3-1 shows the configuration diagram.
Both the basic and expansion unit bases must be installed to a vertical panel with the power
modules located at the left.
