Installing the Remote Control Batteries

Before the remote control can be used, the two supplied AA 
batteries need to be installed. First, unsnap the battery cover 
from the back of the remote control. Install each fresh 
battery as shown, making sure that the + and – on each 
battery line up with the marks in the battery compartment. 
Next, snap the cover back onto the remote control. 

Refer to “Programming Your Remote Control” in Chapter 8 
for setting the codes to control the devices in your 
entertainment system.
