Using Music Search Function
When music is broadcast on TV, you can display
music information (Title/Artist/Album/Genre) by
connecting to the Gracenote® database.
•
Compatible with music on TV programs,
connected external devices, Internet websites,
and Media Player.
Before using this feature:
•
Read the EULA of Gracenote
®
in
Software Licences

page 25).
•
Confi gure a network (

page 36).

When music is broadcast on TV, press
on the
remote control.
Pressing
connects to the Gracenote®
database and searches for the music.
If the music is found, the information (Title/
Artist/Album/Genre) appears on the TV screen.

If multiple results are retrieved, press
or
to switch displays. Up to 5 results can be
retrieved.
•
The music information may not be displayed
in the language specifi ed in
Menu Language
.
•
If no results can be retrieved or an error
has occurred, a message appears. Read
the message, and press
EXIT
to erase the
message.
Notes:
•
The music information may not be retrieved in some
cases even if the music is well known.
•
The music search is not available during Photo
playback of Media Player, or if Multi View is selected
for Video or Music.

Using the Media Player
This TV allows you to enjoy movie, music and photo
fi les stored on a USB device connected to the USB
port.
Moreover, you can also play photos, movies or music
fi les from your PC by connecting the TV to your
home network.
Terminology
DMP: DLNA CERTIFIED™ Player
DMS: DLNA CERTIFIED™ Server
•
DMP: The TV can control and play content from a
DMS.
- A DMS is a device that can function as a server
for DMP.
Notes:
•
Do not insert/remove USB device while in use.
•
MENU is not available during playback.

Basic operation
Using Media Player with USB
When Auto Start is enabled, you will be asked if you
want to start the Media Player when a USB device
is inserted. If Auto Start is disabled (or if you want
to connect to a DMS on the network), you must
manually start the Media Player from the menu.
