The CD/DVD control buttons allow you to play audio CDs
when the display panel is closed and the computer is turned
off. You can also use them to play CDs and DVDs with the
display panel open and the computer turned on. For a

The CD/DVD/Media Player switch sets the computer to turn
on the CD/DVD player automatically if there is a disc in the
DVD-ROM drive when the computer is turned off, or to
power up and launch Windows Media Player.
